Prices:You will find the prices of our furniture on this website and we try our best to keep these updated with any changes and apologise if any inaccuracies occur. NB: Some special offers are on sale in our showroom too – this may cause a problem with availability if we have an online sale and ‘showroom’ sale at the same time. For this reason all offers are subject to availability.
Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
PaymentAt the time of ordering your goods a minimum deposit of £50.00 is required. This can be done by either Pay Pal, or Credit Card; (we take mastercard, visa, eurocard, switch, delta and solo). Or by giving us your details over the telephone. You may also pay your deposit by personal cheque or building society cheque). Cheques to be made payable to Cane Furniture Centre. We will arrange the balance of your payment when we contact you to arrange delivery of your order. The balance can be paid by one of the following ways:-
- Credit Card
- Cheque
- Cash
- Debitcard - via telephone
- Switch - via telephone
- Bank Transfer
You may also order by telephone, by calling 01603 663355 Monday to Saturday 9am – 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. Please have to hand the details of the goods you wish to purchase and the method of payment
Delivery/HandlingAll prices include VAT. Payment details must be provided by the customer on the day that we accept your order. Nationwide delivery charges incurred will be applied to the customer order and taken with payment of goods. The customer must confirm the correct billing address for the credit/debit card, and if different must notify us of the correct delivery address. Deliveries will be arranged with the customer (phone/email) at a convenient time and will normally be made within 3-4 weeks from ordering. Any date for delivery specified by the company is an estimate only and the company shall not be liable for the consequence of any delay. The company will notify the customer if there will be a delay or if the item is no longer available, if so an alternative product will be offered.
Shipping:If you live overseas we can arrange shipping to anywhere in the world. If you prefer you can arrange your own shipping. For delivery charges to Scotland, Northern Ireland, Eire, the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight and other offshore islands please telephone for an exact quotation. 01603 663355
Returns PolicyOnce in production the goods cannot be cancelled. The goods can only be returned if there is a fault in the product. Complaints on faulty goods cannot be considered unless official notification is lodged in writing with the company within 14 days from delivery date, providing a full description of the fault Goods must be examined on receipt, and if damaged, signed for with immediate advice to the company. If the above procedure is not adhered to the company cannot accept responsibility. The liability of the company for loss or damage in transit shall not exceed replacement of the goods shown to be lost or damaged or at the company's option reimbursement of the price received by them for the goods. All further claims for damages, howsoever arising, are hereby expressly excluded. When returning faulty goods the customer must contact us on tel: 01603 663355 prior to returning the goods to agree a method and date for return. Goods returned non faulty are at the customer’s expense. Refunds can only be made once the goods are back in the possession of the company or for the unusual circumstance of cancellation of unfulfilled order. The refund will be in the form of the original method of payment.
Delivery Schedule Force MajeureIf the manufacture or delivery by normal route or means of delivery or shipment of the customers goods or part of them is delayed or made impossible by events beyond the control of the company or an event falling within the term "force majeure" and in particular strikes' lockouts or differences with workmen, civil disturbance, war, Queen's enemies, act of God, storm, flood, tempest or accident to machinery, Government requirements, quota or license restrictions; the company shall not be liable for any delay or failure to delivery which is directly or indirectly attributable to such events.
OWNERSHIPRisk in the goods passes to the customer when the goods are offloaded from the companies, or its agent’s vehicle at the customers given delivery address. The property and the legal and beneficial ownership in the goods will only pass or be transferred to the customer when the goods sold under this contract, have been paid for in full.
Privacy PolicyThe Cane Furniture Centre do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties.
Changes in TermsThe Cane Furniture Centre reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any modification of these terms will be deemed to be effective from the date and time of posting on the Cane Furniture Centre web site.
